DreamWork, play, laugh, cry, laugh again and work some more. That’s a typical week at the Desert Heritage office. We are so lucky to have such a fun, caring and supportive staff that you can share your genuine self with…and they love you for it.

One morning, it seemed like everyone came in just a little less bright-eyed and bushy-tailed than usual. It turns out, almost everyone had a restless night with some pretty crazy dreams! Mary had dreams of waking to a friend dancing in her bedroom while she and her husband were trying to rest. Teresa had dreamed that she was driving in convertible down a bumpy road, wherein she saw someone fall into a pothole filled with murky water and wanted to save them, but couldn’t because she doesn’t know how to swim. And, Stacey had dreams about having to care for babies that she found left in the supermarket. What a rough night!

Intrigued by the dreaming phenomena, Teresa researched a little about analyzing dreams, and this is what she found and sent to us via email:

Dreams are said to be your mind’s way of making sense of the various issues it deals with on a day to day basis–whether it is work, family, health, or relationships. Dreams help sort out all the information and events that you are subject to during your day creating a way for a person, free of conscious limitations, to understand what is really going on, to solve problems, to gain clarity and insight into a situation, issue, or person.

Baby

If you find a baby in your dream, then it suggests that you have acknowledged your hidden potential.

If you dream that a baby is neglected, then it suggests that you are not paying enough attention to yourself. You are not utilizing your full potential. Alternatively, this dream could represent your fears about your own children and your ability to protect and to provide for them.

Dancing

To dream that you are watching someone dance signifies freedom from any constraints and restrictions. Your life is in balance and in harmony. Dancing also represents frivolity, happiness, gracefulness, sensuality and sexual desires. You need to incorporate these qualities in your waking life.

Potholes/water

To see a pothole in your dream represents difficulties and setbacks in achieving your goals. You need to make some changes in how you approach your goals. The dream also indicates that things are not going smoothly for you in some aspect or situation in your waking life.

To see muddy or dirty water in your dream indicates that you are wallowing in your negative emotions. You may need to take some time to cleanse your mind and find internal peace. Alternatively, the dream suggests that your thinking/judgment is unclear and clouded.

So, going by these interpretations, it looks like Mary knows how to really enjoy life! Teresa & Stacey have a lot going on and need to learn to relax a little more (don’t we all!)…maybe Mary can teach them how it’s done!
